…through all of the shit being slung throughout this election? I paid close attention during the conventions, but now there is so much trival controversy surrounding the candidates that it’s hard to stay diligent. America the… tabloid obsessed. I read about the Sarah Palin Controversy in US Weekly today. The same magazine that detailed Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer’s breakup in all its gory details. Yeah!
I think I am going to spend the next two months ignoring the election, watching really bad television (has anyone seen the new 90210? I never saw the orginal, but this new one is so bad it’s good), and curling up in bed with my ninja-wannabe kitten (who just fell asleep after running frantically around my room for 20 minutes… aww!).
I also need to take new pictures. I’m sick of these DC ones.

I am out of words for today.
Classes have started. I am tired already and I haven’t had any work to do. I kind of wish my days weren’t going to be filled with so much chemistry. I suppose I should get used to it now while I still have some sort of life.
Maine this weekend for Belinda’s 21st! Should be a riot.

Throughout our entire trip to DC, my father had his Blackberry practically glued to his hands. This isn’t because he is one of those crazy business execs (Does he really look like a buisness exec? C’mon now.) but because he is fascinated with the technology. And with the idea that he actually got one for free from his job. Granted, by having one, he was expected to respond to the hundreds of emails he got during his vacation (no exaggeration), but whatever. He also tried to spread the Word of the Blackberry to me, but I don’t really see a need for one object that does everything that my thousands of dollars of electronics all do…seperately…and on a larger scale. Pshhh… who needs a Blackberry (or an iPhone for that matter) anyway.
On another note, Lindsay and I have been following the DNC and RNC and honestly? I’m tired of politics already. I’m tired of hearing about how John McCain was a POW and can better serve our country because of it. Because, according to Palin, he Fought For Our Country… did Obama? (Did Bush? Did Clinton? Roosevelt? Wilson? Coolidge? Carter?…some of them were in the military, but saw no action). I still don’t understand what McCain is going to do for our country, other than handle all sorts of foreign affairs. I’ve heard about AIDS in Africa, about Iraq, about Iran, about Georgia… about almost every other country except for what he’s going to do here.
Oh, and Palin, while governer in Alaska, voted against a bill that would put polar bears on the endangered species list. Why? Because that would hurt the chances of being able to drill for oil in the areas where the polar bears live. That makes me want to vomit on her shoes.
The idea of the Republicans winning this ticket makes me nauseous. And the idea of the Democrats winning makes me nervous (Will Obama be able to live up to his claims? To his “fame”?).
Woah.
